PF2009 Presentation Preview

Army Fleet Support (AFS) maintains a fleet of captive military helicopters, which are used to train pilots. A typical project is an intermediate level MRO, i.e. maintenance after 200-700 hours of flying operation. The business need was to increase aircrafts availablity for training by increasing throughput and reducing cycle time.

The remarkable results (more than 40% reduction in cycle time) at AFS demonstrate that Critical Chain Execution Management is applicable to not only depot level MRO but also to intermediate level MRO. The AFS team will share their solution, insights, and lessons learned.

All Critical Chain implementations will benefit from their experience. To hear more, register now.

Pre-Conference Workshop

The Fundamentals: "Rules to Results"
by Dr. Ajai Kapoor, VP of Industry Solutions

  • The Execution Management problem in projects
Why the culprit is not uncertainties, but it is how we react and respond to them.
  • The Critical Chain solution
How the three rules of Critical Chain solve the Execution Management problem and allow you to do more projects in less time with fewer resources.
  • How to cause change and get sustainable results
Applying the three rules to various environments; achieving buy-in throughout the organization; and establishing management processes, policies and measurements to sustain the changes.
