James A. Baker, III
James A. Baker, III has served in senior government positions under three United States Presidents. He served as the nation's 61st Secretary of State from January 1989 through August 1992 under President George H.W. Bush. During his tenure at the State Department, Baker traveled to 90 foreign countries as the United States confronted the unprecedented challenges and opportunities of the post–Cold War era. Baker’s reflections on those years of revolution, war and peace—The Politics of Diplomacy—was published in 1995.
Michael Burkett
Mike Burkett is a Research Vice President & Chief of Research for the Gartner supply chain group, drawing on more than 15 years of manufacturing experience introducing and supporting products from concept to end-of-life. Heading Gartner's cross-industry research on product life cycle supply chain strategy, he is regarded as a leading expert, having co-authored the first industry publication to define the product life cycle management market. Mr. Burkett previously managed an analyst team responsible for cross-industry supply chain process and technology research. He continues to conduct research on the extended value chain issues impacting industrial discrete manufacturing companies.
