Realization's Project Flow Solution Selected by Spain's OHL to Restore Turkish Rail Line
Theory of Constraints-Based Solution Helps Avoid and Eliminate Bottlenecks and Time-traps in Multi-Site, Multi-Project Program

SILICON VALLEY - September 22, 2004 - Realization Technologies today announced that OHL, one of the biggest construction and services group in Spain, has implemented Realization's Project Flow to manage the tasks and resources in restoring the Ankara-Istanbul railway line in Turkey. The first track was laid in an inaugural ceremony held June 8, 2004, and attended by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Spanish Ambassador Manuel de la Camara.

OHL President Juan-Miguel Villar Mir, accompanied by his counterpart in Alsim Alarco, the Turkish construction company with which OHL was granted the contract as a Temporary Business Association, made a speech in which he highlighted the importance of large infrastructures to economic growth and social development.

Awarded in 2000 by the General Directorate of Turkish State Railways, the adaptation of the 260 km long Inonu-Esenkent stretch to a high-speed railway line is a major construction program with financing via a Development Aid Fund loan (FAD in Spanish) by the Spanish government.
