U.S. Air Force Testing Center to deploy Realization's
Project Flow software across its Entire Operation SILICON VALLEY - November 2, 2004 - Realization Technologies today announced that U.S. Air Force Operational Test & Evaluation Center (AFOTEC), which tests warfighter systems, has decided to deploy Realization's Project Flow Software across all its detachments. This decision was made after a successful pilot in one of its detachment where project flow has help increase throughput by 40% while reducing cycle time by 30% in just six months. AFOTEC at any given time has over 200 concurrent projects with over 500 resources working on these projects. These projects involve test planning, test execution and test reporting of warfighting systems. "AFOTEC plays a very crucial role in Air Force acquisition process. It is our privilege to be selected by AFOTEC" says Sridhar, Director Strategic Services at Realization. Realization helps such project-oriented organizations
such as AFOTEC increase the flow of projects. Based on the theory of constraints/critical
chain, Project Flow is a process of identifying and eliminating bottlenecks
in projects. It dynamically prioritizes resources during execution so
that overall, projects keep moving despite local delays. About Realization Technologies, Inc. For instance, the Switching Solutions Group of a major telecomm company has reduced project duration by one-third for over 95 percent of their projects. Their internal productivity metrics indicate a 45 percent improvement, and on-time delivery has sustained at 90+ percent over three years. Project Flow is used by over 100 leading organizations throughout the world. Realization is headquartered at 2 North First Street, San Jose, Calif. 95113. Website is www.realization.com.
