VitesseLearning to Accelerate eLearning Projects
Using Realization's Project Flow SILICON VALLEY - December 21, 2004 - Realization Technologies today announced that VitesseLearning (San Francisco) is now using its Project Flow system to manage eLearning projects for all its customers. VitesseLearning specializes in developing effective eLearning solutions for organizations in the Life Sciences and Financial Services industries. "Key improvements within our first full month of implementation of Realization's Project Flow solution include reducing contractor costs by approximately 30 percent and increasing revenue generation by about 20 percent," reports Rick Brooks-Hill, COO VitesseLearning. "Looking forward, we anticipate that we will be able to drive tighter cycle times to further improve both metrics." Brooks-Hill adds, "At any given time we have 35 to 40 projects in production and, therefore, task management amongst shared resources is critical. Previous solutions have never given us an adequate enterprise-wide view of when work will occur, while adequately managing for inevitable uncertainty." "Reducing unpredictability in our workflow has increased the predictability of our business results," states VitesseLearning Senior Director, Production Randy Weiner. "Project Flow, almost overnight, has put our Production Management team in a position to deliver on our business goals in ways that we could have not done previously." Weiner continues, "Our utilization has consistently been on target, as task managers ensure that the right work is being released to the right people at the right time. As a result, our workflow, despite the same unpredictability that our business has always faced, is far smoother than it has ever been." "As with all customers, our goal is to help VistesseLearning produce 50 percent more projects 50 percent faster," states Realization Technologies Associate Director of Strategic Services Taher Khorakiwala. "They have already achieved considerable success with Project Flow in only their first month." Based on the theory of constraints/critical chain, Realization's Project Flow system increases speed and efficiencies through tighter coordination and control in execution. It dynamically prioritizes resources during execution so that overall, the project keeps moving despite local delays. About VistesseLearning About Realization Technologies, Inc.
